How Reo.Dev is helping devtool companies build an AI-powered DevGTM motion

Developer-first go-to-market is changing fast—and AI is leading that transformation. At Reo.Dev, we’ve built an AI-powered GTM platform that helps devtool companies identify real developer intent, automate account research, and personalize outreach at scale. From Reo Copilot to our upcoming AI SDR and Reo Agents, we’re embedding AI capabilities directly into every sales motion, turning scattered signals into actionable insights that move the pipeline faster than ever.

When we started building Reo.Dev - one thing was clear from day one to us - AI has to be the core of our product foundation. And here we are. What began as a spreadsheet has now grown into a GTM platform for developer-first companies. And our growth is anchored in the rock-solid foundation of AI and the powerful capabilities we’ve built around it.

We get that developer GTM is fundamentally different. Unlike traditional B2B SaaS, intent doesn’t show up in form fills or downloads but unfolds across fragmented sources - docs, repos, product usage, communities and many other sources which generic GTM tools can’t capture. That’s the exact problem we’ve solved - tracking, aggregating and connecting these intent signals. It helps DevGTM teams cut through the signal noise, understand actual developer intent and surface high-intent accounts.

The developer funnel for instance is our proprietary AI model that uses 2 billion+ data points to extrapolate where each account might be in their buying journey based on real developer activities. It tracks signals from your Docs, Github pages, telemetry, product usage, website pages activity, Slack posts/replies and then maps accounts to their buying journey - Exploration, Evaluation, Building, Deployed. DevGTM teams leveraging this have seen significant improvement in pipeline velocity because they're no longer guessing; they're guided by data that feels almost prescient.

And now over the last year, as AI capabilities have evolved quickly - it has opened up possibilities that stretch beyond just capturing developer intent. It’s changing the way GTM teams operate day to day. And that's the north star we're chasing: embedding AI power directly into your daily workflows, so you spend less time hunting data and more time closing deals.

Our first big step in this direction - Launch of Reo Copilot

One of our first big steps in that direction was the launch of Reo Copilot - a first of it’s kind AI-sales assistant built specifically for devtool companies. Unlike generic AI tools built on public data, Reo Copilot is trained on your proprietary first party data and translates developer intent signals into actionable account intelligence, delivered in seconds.

Reo Copilot gives you specific, context-aware insights based on real-time developer activity. With Reo Copilot, you get instant context on

  • What the company does exactly
  • Who are the active developers
  • Who are the key decision makers to reach out to
  • Understand timing and readiness of the account/Know if the account is showing purchase intent
  • Intent-driven messaging

Teams using Copilot report slashing account research time from hours to minutes—freeing reps to focus on high-value conversations. It's like having a tireless analyst whispering battle-tested intel in your ear.

What’s coming next

Reo Agents

Talk to any GTM team and they'll tell you the same story: most of their day is spent on research, qualification, and prepping for outreach. This is primarily because the data lives everywhere and nowhere at once. Teams manually piece together context from a dozen tools and even then critical signals slip through the cracks.

Enter Reo Agents, our solution to automate automates account research and qualification. These autonomous AI agents continuously monitor your accounts for signals that matter the most — and turn those signals into usable GTM intelligence.

You can deploy agents to watch your accounts for specific signals in real-time and get answers to specific questions you care about like:

  • Are there are new engineers or tech leader hired?
  • Has anyone changed jobs recently?
  • Is the company actively hiring in the past x months?
  • Are there any decision makers engaging?
  • Is there a spike in developer activity?

All this and much more.

Reo Agent tags

Each agent is purpose-built to answer a specific question about an account or developer so you can uncover key signals including job changes, hiring intent, buyers, buying readiness and activity trends. Think about having a dedicated AI agent for every part of your outbound motion -identifying the right accounts, the right people and crafting the right message.

Run a Reo Agent

You can run each agent across your entire book of business.

The magic amplifies downstream: leverage the agent results to filter accounts, build segments around them, and trigger workflows in your CRM, slack alerts, and other automation tools.

What used to take hours of manual work now happens in the background.

AI SDR

Even when teams have perfect account intelligence, there's still a bottleneck: writing the actual outreach. You're staring at developer activity data, account context, recent engagement, notes from past conversations—trying to synthesize it all into one email that's personalized, technically relevant, and timely.

When you nail it, the response rate is incredible. A perfectly contextualized email mentioning their specific GitHub activity, referencing their actual pain point, speaking their technical language—it cuts through the noise.

But here's the problem: It takes at least 15-20 minutes per email. Maybe longer. This is the exact kind of time suck you want reps to avoid.

That's why we're launching AI SDR. The first phase of AI SDR will focus on AI-powered email generation.

With AI-SDR you can generate highly personalized emails based on real-time signals you’re already tracking on Reo (Github activity, doc views, product interactions, website visits, code interactions and others), plus account context, your own best-performing email templates, context from past conversations. AI SDR fuses it all, auto-generating customized emails for every contact—personalized down to the repo they forked last Tuesday.

No more generic blasts; developers smell those a mile away and hit delete. Instead: "Hey [Name], Noticed your team's spike in GraphQL queries on our docs after forking our example repo—struggling with auth scaling? Here's how we cut latency 40% for similar setups." It's timely, technical, and tuned to convert.

Where we’re headed: AI-Powered DevGTMs

Everything we're building is guided by one unshakeable conviction: AI should power every part of your developer GTM motion. And that means

  • AI that understands developer intent at a depth generic tools can’t
  • AI that removes manual work instead of adding more tools
  • AI that helps you act at exactly the right moment with the right context - turning signals into revenue.

We've prioritized this vision from our spreadsheet days. And this is the future we're relentlessly building at Reo.Dev.
