I’m thrilled to share that Reo.Dev has raised a $4 million seed round led by Heavybit, with participation from India Quotient and Foster Ventures.
More than 100 developer-first companies - including Chainguard, LangChain, Datahub, and N8N - already use Reo.Dev to turn developer activity into actionable Developer Intent Intelligence, helping GTM teams uncover hidden pipelines and accelerate sales to technical buyers.
This milestone marks an important step forward in our journey to make developer intent visible, actionable, and revenue-generating for every DevTool company.
Why We’re Building Reo.Dev
When we started Reo.Dev, I saw the same challenge repeat across developer-first companies: GTM teams chasing the wrong accounts while real opportunities stayed hidden - buried in GitHub activity, documentation usage, and open-source communities.
In today’s AI-driven landscape, developers and engineering teams have become the first-mover buyers. They install packages, clone repos, read documentation, run Docker pulls, and contribute to open source - forming their opinions and making adoption decisions without ever engaging with Sales.
Each of these actions leaves a fingerprint of intent. Yet traditional CRMs and intent tools were never built to capture these signals. That gap - what we call pipeline fog - is what Reo.Dev was built to solve.
We interpret millions of developer signals across the relevant sources and surface them directly into GTM workflows. The goal is simple: to help GTM teams know which accounts are evaluating, what they care about, and when to engage.
What Makes Reo.Dev Different
Reo.Dev was built on a simple belief: that developer intent is the most honest form of buying signal. Traditional sales tools were never designed to capture it. So we set out to change that - by understanding how developers actually evaluate tools, tracking their real activity across GitHub, package managers, and docs, and transforming those signals into intelligence that GTM teams can use to identify, prioritize, and engage the right accounts.
Over time, this has evolved into a platform that gives GTM teams an entirely new kind of visibility - one that starts with developer behavior, not marketing data. With Reo.Dev, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams gain:
- Developer signals no one else tracks: Real-time visibility into engineering teams evaluating your product through GitHub commits, package installs, docs usage, Docker pulls, and OSS activity.
- AI-powered visibility and predictions: Insights on which accounts are most likely to convert, when to reach out, and what pain points to address.
- Smarter ICP building: A combination of developer activity, firmographic, and technographic data to identify high-fit accounts and the right economic buyers.
- Connecting adoption to revenue: Linking bottom-up developer usage to top-down buying centers for full-funnel visibility and shorter deal cycles.
- Effortless integration: Plug-and-play connections with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, and Apollo so teams can act on intent instantly.
In short, Reo.Dev helps DevTool companies see what’s been invisible for too long - the real signals that turn developer adoption into revenue.
The Journey So Far
In just two years, we’ve seen Developer Intent Intelligence evolve from a new idea to a proven GTM advantage.
We now track over 9 million developer intent signals every month, helping customers identify tens of thousands of in-market accounts based on real developer activity.
Reo.Dev has grown 10× year-over-year and continues to expand 60% quarter-over-quarter, driven by the measurable results our customers are achieving - stronger pipelines, higher ROI, and more predictable revenue.
Hearing our customers describe Reo.Dev this way makes me incredibly proud of what the team has built:
“Reo.Dev is the most developer-centric intent signaling tool I’ve seen - powerful, precise, and aligned with how we want to reach our ICP. Combined with the fastest, most thoughtful support we’ve ever experienced, it’s been a game-changer for our team.”
— Francie Kastl, Head of Global Sales Development - Ververica
What’s Next
This round isn’t just capital - it’s momentum. It gives us the ability to go deeper into what we set out to do from day one: help GTM teams truly understand developer intent. We’re investing heavily in our AI-native GTM intelligence, making Reo.Dev smarter at recognizing real developer activity and helping teams focus where genuine interest exists. At the same time, we’re making GTM workflows seamless - expanding integrations and automation so that acting on developer intent feels effortless for Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams.
As we grow, we’ll keep strengthening the DevGTM Academy, our learning hub for GTM leaders and SDRs to access practical playbooks, case studies, and expert insights from the DevTool ecosystem. And to support this next phase, we’re expanding our team globally and establishing our first U.S. office to stay closer to our customers and community.
