We’re moving fast at Reo.Dev — and every update is part of a much bigger shift: helping GTM teams truly understand how developers evaluate products and take action on those signals, faster.

In our Product Update for April, we are covering two new updates.

→ One that increases our coverage of developer intent signal - Localhost activity

→ Another that gives you tighter control inside Salesforce - Updates to Salesforce Integration

So, let’s dive in:

Local Host Tracking

Reo.Dev already shows you who’s engaging with your docs, exploring your product, or lurking on your pricing page.

Now, we’re going deeper with tracking true developer intent. Localhost isn’t “just another signal”—it’s one of earliest, most authentic, and often invisible intent signals.

If your product can be run by a developer on their local machine, and accessed through the web browser (https://localhost:xxxx format URL), we can now track this activity as well, in real-time.

With Localhost Tracking, you can:

👀 See real-time developer activity on your locally hosted products

📈 Identify high-intent users before they deploy a cloud-hosted instance of your product

🔁 Personalize outreach, and nurture leads from the very beginning of the evaluation journey.

This is a game-changer for outreach timing and relevance, helping you catch early adopters and engage with them at the perfect moment.

Salesforce Integration: More Control, Less Hassle

Our Salesforce integration just got smarter and more flexible. You now have full control over how Reo.Dev contacts sync with Salesforce — no more worrying about mismatches or manual fixes.

With this update, you can choose whether your Reo.Dev contacts are synced as the leads or contacts object.

Revamped Activity Timeline:

We've made the activity timeline easier to skim, scroll and spot key activities.

Here’s what’s new:

  1. New filters - Use Repo name and Repo type to filter the timeline
  2. More activity types - You can now filter the timeline based on form fills and localhost activity
  3. See the code snippet the developer copied

And finally, here are some plays to help you action on Reo.Dev data:

Playbooks of the month

This month the spotlight is on the Developer PLG collection that’s packed with plays to help you discover accounts showing strong purchase intent—based on their activity across your developer docs, technical pages, code interactions, and more.

Here are our top picks:

1. Track Accounts Active on Key Section or Pages of your Developer Docs

Find accounts actively engaging with high-value sections/pages of your product docs - typically a signal indicating they’re in an active evaluation phase.

2. Identify ICP Accounts with Active Developer Evaluation

Spot ICP accounts in the ‘build and deploy’ stages of the developer funnel that indicate active product engagement and initial signs of adoption.
